Dr. Jared Anderson, DDS
Dentist and Practice Owner
Dr. Jared Anderson is a fifth-generation Bend native who feels deeply connected to Central Oregon and the community he calls home. He graduated from Linfield College in 1995 before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2002.
After dental school, Dr. Anderson operated a solo dental practice in Southern Oregon for 12 years. He eventually returned to Bend to be closer to family and reconnect with the beautiful region and outdoor lifestyle he knows and loves.
Dr. Anderson focuses on creating healthy, functional smiles through advanced technology, continuing education, and personalized care. He completed hundreds of hours of postdoctoral education, including advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, conscious sedation, and dental implants. He also brings extensive experience with CEREC technology, which allows him to provide beautiful all-ceramic crowns in a single appointment for eligible patients.
Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Central Oregon Dental Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with his son Lucas, traveling, and making the most of Central Oregon's incredible outdoor activities. From exploring the region's trails to enjoying everything else the area has to offer, he feels fortunate to live and work in the place he has always considered home.
Dr. Mark Nuttall, DMD
Dentist
Dr. Mark Nuttall, originally from Huntsville, Alabama, graduated from the University of Alabama in 2010 and received his DMD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2015. After practicing dentistry on the Oregon coast, he and his wife decided to move to Central Oregon to fulfill their passion for the outdoors.
Dr. Mark strongly believes in providing state-of-the-art, relationship-based, comprehensive care that is tailored to his patients. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association.
When not providing dental care, Dr. Mark is an avid golfer, cook, fisherman, and loves to hike with his wife and dog.
Amber
Office Manager
Amber serves as the office manager and has been part of the team since 2020. She enjoys the many different responsibilities that come with keeping the office running smoothly, and her own positive experiences with dental cleanings inspire her work in the dental field. Amber especially loves seeing patients smile.
Outside the office, Amber enjoys camping, hiking, and relaxing by the water. She recently took up jewelry making, including lapidary, wire wrapping, and soldering. Amber is married, has four children, five grandchildren, and loves spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys caring for her two dogs and cat.
Josie
Insurance Specialist
Josie has served as the practice's insurance specialist since 2021. She enjoys helping patients navigate their insurance benefits and answering questions about their coverage. Since the insurance industry is constantly evolving, Josie enjoys the challenge of learning new information and finding solutions that help patients understand their benefits.
Outside the office, Josie enjoys fishing, camping, tropical vacations, and spending time with her family.
Becky
Receptionist
Becky has been part of the team since 2023 and enjoys creating friendly experiences for patients from the moment they walk through the door. She brings a strong background in customer service and enjoys helping patients feel welcome and supported.
Born and raised in Central Oregon, Becky is also a busy mom of three active kids. When she and her husband are not working or running between sporting events and school activities, she enjoys traveling, camping, reading, puzzles, and playing board games with family and friends.
Sierra
Patient Care Coordinator
Sierra first came to the practice as a patient and later joined the team in 2024. After years of working in customer service, she brings a natural passion for helping people and creating positive experiences. Sierra understands how meaningful it can be to regain confidence in your smile, and she enjoys helping patients feel the same confidence.
Outside the office, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her dog, spending time with family, and chatting with her friend in Italy. She also has a competitive streak and can reportedly dominate just about anyone at UNO.
Grace
Hygiene Coordinator
Grace began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant before moving into administration. She joined the team as the hygiene coordinator in 2024. Grace loves helping people and wants every patient to feel welcomed and comfortable throughout their visit.
Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, fishing, spending time with friends and family, and getting lost in a good book.
Amanda
Dental Hygienist
Amanda has been a dental hygienist with the practice since 2020. She graduated from Eastern Washington University and enjoys helping people feel comfortable while building relationships that last for years.
Outside the office, Amanda enjoys hiking, camping, and fishing with her family and dog.
Marisa
Dental Hygienist
Marisa has been a dental hygienist with the practice since 2017. She graduated from Oregon Tech and enjoys helping patients while getting to know them as individuals. Marisa grew up with six siblings, and her childhood dentist once told her she would make a great hygienist. That encouragement helped inspire her career in dentistry.
Outside the office, Marisa enjoys volleyball, softball, hunting, hiking, weightlifting, and spending time with her dog.
Becca
Dental Hygienist
Becca has been a dental hygienist with the practice since 2015. She graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology and enjoys building genuine connections with her patients. Her favorite part of dentistry includes getting to know patients and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.
Outside the office, Becca enjoys camping, traveling, spending time with family, and caring for her two dogs.
Debby
Dental Hygienist
Debby has been a dental hygienist with the practice since 2002. She graduated from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland and enjoys getting to know the unique dental needs of every patient she treats. Debby finds it rewarding to help patients work toward better oral health through personalized care and education.
Outside the office, she enjoys camping, traveling, and hiking with her husband. She also loves spending time with her three grown daughters, eight grandchildren, and her dog.
Leilani
Dental Hygienist
Leilani worked as a dental assistant before becoming a dental hygienist, and she joined the team in 2023. A Central Oregon native, she enjoys spending time outdoors and making the most of the region's many recreational opportunities.
Most of all, Leilani values time with family. She especially enjoys gathering at home or at her parents' house to share home-cooked meals and meaningful conversations.
Jennifer
Dental Assistant
Jennifer has been a dental assistant with the practice since 2008 and assists Dr. Anderson. She attended a dental assisting program in Vancouver, Washington, and enjoys working with patients while supporting the practice's range of procedures. Jennifer especially appreciates the advanced technology and equipment available in the office. She loves her patients and enjoys being part of a team that continues to grow and evolve.
Family is number one for Jennifer. She married her high school sweetheart, and together they have three children who keep them busy with snowboarding, skateboarding, motocross, basketball, and showing steers through FFA. The family also runs a plumbing business, and Jennifer enjoys traveling to support her children's activities.
McKayla
Dental Assistant
McKayla has been a dental assistant with the practice since 2024 and assists Dr. Mark. She attended Kaplan College in San Diego and enjoys helping patients feel more confident about their smiles.
Outside the office, McKayla enjoys spending time in the sunshine with her kids and their French bulldog.
Katelin
Sterile Technician
Katelin worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist before moving into dentistry. She wanted to explore a new career path without giving up patient interaction, so she joined the team as a sterile technician in 2023.
Outside the office, Katelin enjoys spending time with her two daughters and three stepchildren. She also loves hiking, camping, and kayaking.
I am a longtime patient of Select Dental. My appointments are always on time and no waiting. I am member of the in-house insurance plan and I have cleaning/checkups three times year. Amber always does an excellent job caring for my teeth and comfort. I find the staff to be caring/helpful in scheduling appointments and answering my questions.
